Onita Simpson is a mother of two teenage daughters. She served in the Army for almost 9 years and during that time she deployed to Afghanistan for one year. After departing the Army, she received her B.S degree in Criminal Justice from Campbell University in 2011, and a Masters of Arts in Human Resource Development in 2013 from Webster University. She has been a paraprofessional working in the government sector for over 20 years. She owns a online clothing store that she uses to empower and encourage women and men combining fashion and words. Onita is also a motivational speaker, and she enjoys writing in her leisure time.
